Dave Errington

Dave joined Talis in June 2003 from SurfKitchen Inc, a Venture Capital backed wireless mobile software startup based in Zurich and London. As Chief Technology Officer he worked with the founders and management team to refine their technology and business strategy to position the company for growth with early adopting customers, strategic partners and investors. Previously, he worked for The Sage Group plc (one of the world's leading business software providers) as CTO and before that as Research and Development Director for Sage (UK) Ltd. After joining Talis in June 2003, Dave took responsibility for the company's products, services and infrastructure before taking the role of CEO in September 2004. He leads the senior management team and as part of the executive team, is responsible for defining and communicating the company's business and technology strategy. Dave has a BSc in Mathematics and a Postgraduate qualification in Mathematics and Physical Education.

Justin joined Talis in January 2000 from Morse Group plc, a leading European technology supplier. After receiving his Master of Physics from Oxford University, Justin joined IBM working first in the defence and aerospace sector for the British Army and later for Natwest Bank. Justin left IBM to join an internet start up company based at Birmingham University where he was involved in product development, marketing and business strategy. Justin, is responsible for the Applications division of Talis and for Group strategy.

Ian joined Talis in June 2005 having worked as an independent technology consultant since 1995. During that time as well as consulting for multi-national corporations including Sony and Worldcom he founded three technology start-ups in the areas of large scale search, syndication and semantic web architectures. Ian is responsible for Talis' Platform division, engagement with the developer community and coordinates involvement with standards bodies. Ian holds a BSc in Theoretical Physics, from the University of London.

David Corney

David Corney qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1964 having been articled to an accountant at Sharp Parsons & Co, a predecessor firm of KPMG. He later joined another Birmingham firm of accountants becoming a partner responsible for auditing and accounting matters and latterly specialising in insolvency and corporate recovery work. This firm became Deloitte Haskins & Sells and then Coopers & Lybrand.

David retired in 1995 and has since been involved in work for educational and other charities including being present Chairman of Governors at Queen Alexandra College in Harborne, Birmingham, a national college for the blind.

Buddug Williams

Buddug (pronounced Bithig) specialises in commercial contract work and particularly in the Software sector. She has an upper second Joint Honours in Law and Business from Birmingham University and passed her Solicitor qualification in 1992. As a lawyer of 15 years standing, Buddug has a wide background to inform her of the solutions and options that are likely to come Talis' way as it grows and develops.

Buddug is also a Director of a Not-For-Profit Company, ELUPEG Limited, which is an organisation to promote sustainability issues in the Logistics and Supply Chain arena.
