Talis Partners

Talis has formed partnerships with many of the key stakeholders in the library domain, including IT and information delivery vendors. These partnerships provide mutual customers with the confidence that integrated solutions will both operate seamlessly and evolve together, as an increasing choice of applications and library-centred services enters the market.

To provide a framework for these partnerships Talis has established two discrete programmes:

Talis Additions Partner Programme

A network of Talis Certified partners that deliver integrated solutions to libraries. Extensive collaboration and shared technical expertise between Talis, our customers and partners ensures that the standards-based interfaces required for integrating our products remain compatible.

The Talis Additions Partner Programme includes related technology vendors, book suppliers leveraging electronic procurement services and content suppliers (including bibliographic records, book jackets and publisher reviews).

Talis Connexions Partner Programme

Strategic alliances with other leading library solutions providers, enables their Library Management System (LMS) customers to invest in Talis' complementary products and services. Talis and other library suppliers share technical assets, support open standards and drive harmonious product evolution.

Through the Talis Connexions Partner Programme, libraries can have confidence in their chosen solutions and associated suppliers. Removing the concerns around technical integration ensures all libraries can benefit from our complementary solutions.

Partnering with Customers

An important part of our agile development technique is to engage customers with related domain expertise early in the definition phase for new products. These customers typically remain with the programme right the way through development, going on to participate in beta testing.
