Project Nugget
Working closely with an advisory group of 15 libraries, Project Nugget is developing the next generation of library search technology for use in a range of Talis’ products from powerful catalogue searching to academic search and guided resource discovery for students. The first product to incorporate this technology is Talis Prism 3
For Project Nugget technologies, being built on Talis’ semantic technology platform brings a host of benefits including advanced but simple to use search and discovery power, data visualisation and the ability to surface library data and search capability into other application inside or outside the institution.
Talis Prism v3.0 is in live trials at this time and will enter beta shortly with general availability expected early in 2008.

Project Xedio
The adoption of e-resources has led many universities to invest in the first generation of ERM (Electronic Resource Management) solutions. Project Xedio is committed to delivering Total Resource Management - seamless functionality across the respective lifecycles of both electronic and printed resources. Robust e-commerce features are an integral part of our vision, along with integration into the institutional finance system.
By taking a modular and integration-friendly approach throughout the Total Resource Management programme, libraries will be able to blend in other best of breed investments such as third party link resolvers.
The first delivery, scheduled for summer 2008, is an ERM system encompassing subscription management, licensing, evaluation, access management and discovery functions.
