There are two types of printing available from within Talis Alto. You will probably need to use both to meet all of your printing requirements.
You can print a 'snapshot' of the current Talis Alto form by pressing SHIFT + F11 at any time. Only the material currently displayed on the top most form is contained in the printed output. The form is automatically scaled to fit the page.
You can print a 'report'
view of the contents of the current tab by pressing the SHIFT
+ F10, but only when the print command button (
)
is available. When printing using this method, the entire contents of
the tab are included.
In both instances, the print command invokes the standard Windows print
form, from which you can configure your print output.
Tips
Clicking the print button
(
) on the Talis Alto toolbar invokes the 'snapshot' (SHIFT + F11) method of printing.
You can export the contents of any Talis Alto grid as a .CSV file for import into table orientated applications (such as Excel). For more information refer to the topic Exporting information as .CSV files.
