You can display a record of the previous statuses of an interloan request. The status reflects the stage that the request has reached in its life cycle. It is generally assigned automatically by Talis, but can be changed manually under certain circumstances (for example, when re-applying, renewing or cancelling).
If you have not already done so, display the required interloan.
Click the Status
History tab.
The status history is displayed. The most recent change shown at the
bottom of the list. The possible states are described here:
If the status is 'Pending', 'Requested', 'Reapply' or 'Cancelled', you can change everything except the Date, Sequence and Request Number.
If the status is anything
else, you cannot change the following: Bib
ID, Date, Supplier,
Sequence, Request
Number, Barcode.
The following table illustrates permitted changes to an interloans status.
For example, from the matrix below we can see (from reading across the
table) that interloans in the Pending
status can be changed to Requested,
Received or Cancelled.
