Use the Contents tab to locate major sections in the help and drill down to specific headings within each section. The scripts have been organised by function and have been grouped into the following areas: Database Management, Utilities, Perl MIS and Import work.
Use the Search tab to search for words in the help and locate topics containing those words. For more information, refer to the topic "Searching the Help".
Click
Drop-down links
to display additional information hidden from display.
Click the link again to close the drop-down information.
To return to the previously viewed topic, click Back in the toolbar.
To go to the topic that was displayed prior to clicking Back, click Forward in the toolbar.
To print the currently selected topic, click Print in the toolbar, and select Print the selected topic.
To print all the topics in a book, click Print in the toolbar, and select Print the selected heading and all subtopics.
The toolbar contains the following buttons:
Hide or Show closes or displays the Navigation pane.
Locate synchronises the topic in the Topic window with the topic in the Navigation pane. This is useful if you have closed a book containing the main topic, and you wish to locate it again.
Back and Forward allows you to browse though a history of displayed topics.
Home displays the Talis Scripts welcome page.
Print prints the current topic.
Options displays navigation tools and allows you to customise the HTML Help viewer.
Talis.com displays the Talis Web Site in the topic pane.
The following diagram shows the standard layout of a help topic describing a typical script. Note that individual scripts may differ from this layout.
