Ian joined Talis in June 2005 having worked as an independent technology consultant since 1995. During that time as well as consulting for multi-national corporations including Sony and Worldcom he founded three technology start-ups in the areas of large scale search, syndication and semantic web architectures. Ian is responsible for developing Talis' platform architecture, engagement with the developer community and represents Talis in several standards organisations. Ian holds a BSc in Theoretical Physics, from the University of London.

Ceri joined Talis in May 2005 from Sentient Learning, a provider of e-learning solutions to academic institutions. With a Masters degree in Marketing and a Postgraduate Diploma with the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ceri has worked with a diverse range of small to medium sized enterprises providing strategic direction and executing marketing strategies for new business development. At Talis, Ceri leads the marketing team and is responsible for all aspects of marketing, brand management and communications.

Paul joined Talis in September 2005 from the Common Information Environment (CIE), where as Director he was instrumental in scoping policy and attracting new members such as the BBC, National Library of Scotland and English Heritage to this group of UK public sector organisations. Previously, Paul was at UKOLN where he was active in a range of cross-domain standardisation and advocacy activities.
Paul has a Doctorate in Archaeology from the University of York.

Dave joined Talis in 2006 having previously worked in the IT industry for over 10 years. During this time he has worked in a number of Internet hosting environments designing, building and supporting critical internet facing services in Online Banking, Manufacturing and ISP sectors. David currently has responsibility for the Live Services Team at Talis. The Live Services Team comprises a broad range of skills and experience with a focus on service delivery and continual service improvement.

Sam joined Talis in June 2003. His previous experience includes developing middleware for a leading retail operation, principal developer at a web based logistics startup and at an ERP solution provider. Sam is responsible for overseeing development of the core Talis Platform components and has particular interest in semantic web and distributed applications technologies. Sam holds a BA(hons) in Philosophy and an MSc in Computing Science.
