Searching for reservations

You can search for an identified borrower's reservations, or alternatively, identify works and/or items and search for borrowers who have reserved them. The search results will vary according to which method you chose.

Note that you can also access a borrower's reservations from the Reservation tab on the Borrower screen.

Searching by borrower

  1. From the Circulation menu select Reservation.

    The Reservation form is displayed.

  2. Enter a valid Borrower Barcode.

    If you do not know the barcode, click the Borr.Search button and search for the required borrower.

  3. Click Continue.

    The screen is updated to display reservations for the selected borrower. The screen displays:

  4. Double click on a row to examine the reservation details.
     

Searching by standard identifier

  1. From the Circulation menu select Reservation.

    The Reservation form is displayed.

  2. Enter a valid Standard Identifier.

    If you don’t know the standard identifier click the Bib. Search button to find the record you want.

  3. Click Continue.

    If a single bibliographic record exists containing the standard identifier, reservations for that record will be displayed.  If there is more than one record, a list of the bibliographic records will be displayed.  Choose the one you want and press Select.  Reservations for that record will be displayed.  

  4. Double click on a row to examine the reservation details.
     

Searching by Bib ID

  1. From the Circulation menu select Reservation.

    The Reservation screen is displayed.

  2. Enter a valid Bib ID.

  3. Click Continue.

    The screen is updated to display reservations for that Bib ID.  The screen displays:

Searching by item barcode

  1. From the Circulation menu select Reservation.

    The Reservation screen is displayed.

  2. Enter a valid Item Barcode.

  3. Click Continue.

    The screen is updated to display reservations for the selected item. The screen displays:
