Potential fines in Decisions

Effectively it is not possible because the potential fines are not held in the database as a value.

When the potential fines are displayed in Alto they are calculated when the loan details are displayed by calling a stored procedure for that particular loan. The calculation is quite complicated given the possible configuration of fines e.g. multiple fine rates.

While not relevant to Decisions but if you want potential fines in a PERL script there is a local perl tool that can be used (http://www.talis.com/tdn/alto_perl)

The charges notification script makes use of this perl tool (http://www.talis.com/tdn/system/files?file=art_lm148pl01_0.pdf)
