Improved Holds process

John Blyberg at Ann Arbor District Library has [with the help of PHP scripts, the Exim email server, a spare Linux box, and an investment of his time] taken advantage of the III circulation client's ability to send a print job to an email address instead of a receipt printer, to simplify the Holds Process.

The visible result of his work is a bar coded sticker that the Holds processing staff attach to the item and of course the happy faces of those staff who's life has been made easier.
