Finding Posts
Submitted by ASANDEMAN on Wed, 2006-11-15 12:16.
Within the last month I posted a query on one of the Talis forums. I can't now remember what it was, and ca't find it on the forums.
Is there any way to search by your own name ?
Andrew Sandeman

Finding yourself
You could try googling yourself on the well-known website Google.co.uk. Try your name or your TDN username limited to the talis.com domain.
Or is there some sort of advanced search within TDN that'll do the same job?
Michael.

If you use the TDN search for Sandeman you get one hit
Or you can try searching the from the talis site which would include both sets of forums.

Wouldn't you just click on "View Your Posts" from within the forum site? That lists all the posts you have made. Regards, Sharon
searching innovation forums
I'm trying to find a post that was either here or on the other forums. I searched for my name on here and only got one hit yet I know I have submitted more posts than that. I tried different keywords that I know for a fact were in my post but again it didn't retrieve the one I was looking for. I feel like I'm going mad.
searhing for ANYTHING
I'm replying to my own post in order to keep the topic alive. Today I see all the changes to the Talis web site but searching is worse than it ever was. From the main Talis website search box I searched for 'opening rules' but got one hit. I searched for order chasers and got one hit. Surely this can't be right.

I'll have a look, a large ammount of the content has changed so the indexer may be taking some time to catch up.
Thanks,
Jim
