Borrower Import

Hello
At our Medway campus we provide library services for 3 institutions, who all have different borrower barcodes. One of the institutions have let me know that there is a slight variation on their barcodes. I have made the changes in Alto, which works, but the barcode is still rejected when the file is imported using borr_import script. Where else do i have to make changes?
borrower import
The borrower import script uses the barcode validation that was used within Talis Text rather than the validations used by Talis Alto that are held in the database.
Changing the Alto validation will have no effect on the validation in borrower import. It would require changes to the Talis Text validation files.
The borrower import script uses complied binary executables so it is not possible for users to alter them in the same way is possible in a PERL script.
You will have to contact Client Services to discuss modifying the validate used by borrower import.
