Submitted by TimSpalding on Tue, 2006-08-08 22:32.I just finished a new API, thingTitle, that takes ratty titles and guesses them up into ISBNs and the LibraryThing work number. I can think of a few uses, anyway.

OCLC offers their interpretation of the mashup competition

The Ohio-based Online Computer Library Center (OCLC) have announced a competition of their own, and you have until 15 September to submit an entry. The OCLC competition has some similarities to Mashing up the Library, and some unfortunate differences.

The competition is open to all, and includes a first prize of £1,000 for the best entry.
